The Gold star is ideal. The attic door and ladder is designed to for maximum insulation, it comes with 76 mm of insulation on the trapdoor giving a U-value of 0.49 W/m² K, The very best available on today’s market. The attic door and ladder comes with a double draught excluder, and is air-tight. The trapdoor frame is Polyurethane for increased insulation. This attic stairs installed is recommended for all new builds and fully insulated attics.
The Gold Star is also designed as a light weight attic stairs for easy use, 25% lighter than an average folding attic stairs. The door has a clean white finish, to suit any interior. The step has a non-slip design with grip groves on each thread. The ladder feet are plastic making it ideal for wooden and carpet finish floors alike.
